Barton graduated with honors
from the University of Michigan
Law School in 1974. He is licensed
to practice law in Missouri,
Iowa, Nebraska and Colorado.
He is also a co-founder, member
and past president of the American
Association of Trust, Estate
and Elder Law Attorneys.
Christy is the author of A Guide
to Planning Your Estate. He
is also a frequent speaker at
tax planning workshops, estate
planning seminars and continuing
education programs for financial
planners, CPAs, attorneys and
insurance professionals. In
those rare moments when he is
not working, Christy enjoys
exercising and doting on his
grandchildren.
Brett
Barton is a graduate of the
University of Missouri Law
School and is licensed to
practice in Missouri and
Iowa. He is a frequent speaker
on Medicaid rules for family members
of nursing home residents, hospital
caseworkers and other health professionals.
Outside the office, Brett and his wife of
12 years have four young children.
Brett is a member
of the National Academy of
Elder Law Attorneys.
The

clients for over 28 years.
